TamTam Hackathon 2020
TamTam’s hackathon is an annual thematic event during which participants from various backgrounds work intensively on joint projects with the aim of producing an innovative solution or a prototype in record time.
PRESENTATION OF THE TAMTAM DIGITAL SCHOOL
TamTam Digital School was created on October 15th, 2018 in Lome, Togo, West Africa. The school’s mission is to empower students through team-based, project-centric digital education.
THE OBJECTIVE FOR COMPETITORS
Build a geolocation mobile app, website or software solution using Google Plus Codes and API that will enhance the daily lives of Togolese people.
Competitors will include:
- Students
- IT developers
- Start-ups
- People interested in coding
COMPETITION PRIZE
The second winner will receive a 50% scholarship for the first year and a 25% scholarship for the second year in the software development and user interface program at TamTam Digital School.
The winner of the competition will win an Apple MacBook and technical development mentoring sessions.
The third winner will receive a 25% scholarship for the first year only at TamTam Digital School.
COMPETITION PRIZE

THE HACKATHON ONLINE PLATFORM
Because of the COVID -19 and because of the restrictions in terms of gathering of the population, the hackathon will take place online from the beginning until the proclamation of the winners. The award ceremony will be held with a number of people limited to 15 by the authorities.
As an indication and without this list being exhaustive, the criteria will be:
- creativity,
- the ergonomics,
- the innovative character,
- the graphic qualities,
- the accessibility,
- the feasibility technical,
